The Pierre Governor girls would get a home win 2-0, but the boys would fall 2-1 to the Tea Area Titans on senior day as the season is down to the final three games.
In the boys game, Alex Oedekoven would tie the game late in the first half at 1-1, but the now 7-2-2 Titans were able to get the go-ahead and winning goal in the second half and the defensive squad of Tea clamped down to pick up the win. Pierre falls to 4-4-3.
In the girls game, Emlyn Swanson would get her second shutout of the season, Natalie Flottmeyer would score both goals, and the Governor girls continue to keep pace with the top group of teams with a 2-0 win over the Titans. Pierre improves to 8-2-1 while Tea is 2-8-1. The Govs are currently third in the AA standings.
Pierre will be on the road twice this week, to Mitchell Thursday and then to Sturgis on Saturday before coming home next Tuesday to host Huron to close the regular season.
