The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes will be at home on Saturday hosting the Big Dakota Conference volleyball tournament from the Parkview Auditorium.
This will be eight teams in the tournament so every team will be guaranteed to play four games. In the first match of the day, the winning team in the four matches will be placed in the championship pool with the teams that fall will be in the consolation pool. You will play each team in your pool to finish your tournament which will be determined on how many points you get per match. So Stanley County, the sixth seed will play the three seed, Chamberlain in the first match based off of seed points to this point. If Stanley County were to win, they will play in the championship pool against the other three teams to determine the place they finish. If Winner, Mobridge-Pollock and Todd County, the other three top seeds, all win, the Lady Buffs will play those three teams and will get three points for a 2-0 win, two points for a 2-1 win, one point for losing 2-1 and zero points for losing 2-0. The most points will earn the top spot and finish in the pool.
You can see a list of the rules and scoring below. Stanley County will face Chamberlain in the first game. The day begins at 10:00 AM at the Parkview gym in Fort Pierre.
