The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes will be at home tonight to open up the 2025 volleyball season as they host Region 6A opponent, the Chamberlain Cubs.
Stanley County looks to continue its success over the last three years as the Lady Buffs have finished above .500 for the last three seasons including a 15-13 record last year. They open up with a team they beat three times and went 8-0 in sets in total last year, beating Chamberlain on the road to start the season, then at the Big Dakota Conference tournament in Fort Pierre and again in the Region playoffs also in Fort Pierre. Chamberlain went 4-25 last year and graduated four heading into the season. Meanwhile, Stanley County brings back just three from their usual rotation of last year, JoRayah Walker, Brecken Heubner and Addy Deal.
