The Little League from Sioux Falls would end up falling Wednesday night in an elimination game 7-6 in seven innings to end an incredible run at the Little League World Series.
11 runs would be scored in total in the seventh inning as the team from the Southeast, South Carolina would tie the game 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth. However, South Dakota would storm for five runs in the top of the seventh as Maxen Snoozy, Devin Aukes, Kenson Henderson and Bohde Larson would all get RBIs along with Tate Schneider. But in the end, South Carolina would get six runs in the bottom of the seventh, the last one on a two RBI hit, nearly caught in right field by Grayson Rehfeldt.
South Dakota finishes 2-2 at the Little League World Series and in fourth place on the United States pool. South Carolina will face Nevada today at 6:00 Central time for a spot in the United States Championship against Connecticut on Saturday.
