The annual meeting for the Pierre/Presho USBC Bowling Association is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, at 7:00 PM at the Lariat Lanes. All bowlers are encouraged to attend to elect new officers and discuss matters of the upcoming season regarding both youth and adult leagues. Some league meetings may also be planned, as most adult leagues are just a few weeks away from starting up again.
The annual youth bowling awards and registration event is scheduled for Monday, August 11, at 5:30 PM at the Lariat Lanes. Youth bowlers will receive awards from last season’s leagues as well as from their State Tournament competition in Brookings, and registration for the upcoming league season will also take place. All new bowlers are encouraged to attend, as well as returning league bowlers. The Lariat Lanes staff will provide free hot dogs, chips and fountain drinks for this event. Saturday youth leagues will begin bowling on Sept. 13.
