PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Another short agenda will greet Commissioners this evening. In special business, Commissioners will hear an update on the Capital City Campus then consider approval of a short three-item consent calendar containing only meeting minutes from last weeks meeting, claims and a business license for Mac’s Carnival for an event at Northridge Plaza. All action items for the Commission come in the new business portion of the meeting. Commissioners will consider second reading for a budget supplement for a Transportation Alternatives Grant Award for work to rebuild pedestrian walkways along the La Framboise Island Causeway. Commissioners will give introduction to a the plat of Lot 16-R in the Shamrock Commercial Addition and consider an upgrade to the city’s I-T Department Server. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
