The Casper Spuds would take the third game of the four series on Sunday afternoon with a 6-4 win as Casper has won two of three games in the series.
The Zap had seven errors in the loss with three of the six runs being unearned by the pitchers. Casper scored two runs in the second and third innings and led 6-1 after eight. Oahe scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth and had the tying runners on base with one out, but couldn’t complete the entire comeback. Vince Polizzi had three RBIs for Oahe as he also had two of the five hits. Connor Hammonds and Ty Farwell each doubled in the loss. Five of the six Spuds hit went for extra bases with four doubles and a triple.
Oahe, at 19-21 will try and even the series with the Spuds tonight in the series finale. First pitch is at 6:05 from Hyde Stadium.
