The Oahe Zap would power through a weather delay and hold on to beat the Hastings Sodbusters 7-3 Wednesday night in Pierre as the Zap have now won five straight.
Oahe has pulled back to within one game of .500 as Ty Farwell with two doubles and Vinci Pollizi with an extra base hit would lead the charge for the Zap again also combining for four of the nine hits. Oahe would put up four runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 6-1 lead. Farwell, Pollizi, Jared Pugrad, Alexander Jackson and Quinn Ludvigsen each had an RBI in the win for the Zap. Brady Glenn threw four innings for the win allowing just a run on two hits with two walks and two strikeouts.
Oahe is now 17-18 on the season and have won 12 of 14. Oahe hosts Hastings in a doubleheader on Thursday starting with first pitch at 3:00 at Hyde Stadium in Pierre.
