PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. There is not much at all on the agenda. Only one action item will come before the Commission. That is approval of a four item consent calendar. On the calendar are approval of claims and minutes from the July 1st meeting along with a new hire at the Rawlins Municipal Library and the setting of a public hearing for July 22 for an airport lease for Todd Wilkinson. There is on unfinished or new business items on the agenda. The meeting will start with two items of special business. The first is recognition of the Missouri River Energy Services Community Leader Award and the second is in regard to fireworks safety. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
