In front of a good sized crowd at Kelley Field in Pierre, the Four Corners baseball team would win 6-4 over Kimball/White Lake in a big Pony Hills League contest on Tuesday.
Four Corners would jump out to a 4-0 lead with two runs in each of the first two innings as Garrett Stout had an RBI triple to make it 1-0 and Sam Hand drove him in with a sacrifice fly. In the second inning, River Iverson and Austin Hand executed a double steal for Hand to score before Justin Lester would drive home Iverson making it 4-0 in the second. Brad Hand drove in two runs with a single in the fourth to put Four Corners up 6-2 and Stout would get the final two outs in the ninth to hold on for the 6-4 victory. Jack Van Camp would go six innings earning the win on the mound allowing two runs on three hits with 10 strikeouts. Matt Lusk had two and 1/3 innings of relief allowing just one earned run with three strikeouts.
Four Corners improves to 6-2 on the season with the win.
