PIERRE, (KCCR) — The U-S Senate is considering a reconciliation bill for the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” There is concern about the bill increasing the nation’s debt and deficit because of extending tax cut provisions from 2017 that expire this year. The U-S House passed the reconciliation bill May 22nd. The Senate reconciliation bill has been released by the Senate Finance Committee, but there is no word on when the full Senate may debate the bill.
