Pierre School Board To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of an eight-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Any Board and public comments will follow. Board members will get and update from the Building and Grounds Committee and will give first reading to proposed changes to the T-F Riggs High School Handbook. Changes to the Georgia Morse Middle School handbook will have a final reading and possible adoption. First reading will also be given to the Special Education Comprehensive Plan. Other agenda items for the Pierre School Board include action for a run-off election for an East River at-large representative to the High School Activities Association, setting substitute teacher pay rates and activities and athletic rates. The Board will also consider mini busing and food serve bids, donations, open enrollments, resignations, contract items and discussion on the July Board meeting. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
