The Oahe Zap finished 1-2 against the Casper Spuds with an 11-5 loss on Friday in the series finale as Casper would take two of three at home.
The Zap would get five runs on seven hits as Ty Farwell would drive in two runs with Nick Golden and Mason Lang each driving in a run. Farwell hit the Zap’s second homer of the year. The Zap had a 4-3 lead after the fourth, but allowed two runs in the fifth, four in the sixth and another two in the seventh as as Oahe allowed four unearned runs, with three coming in the bottom of the first. Casper, who had 16 hits, had eight go for extra bases as Jack Opoien had three doubles and Cael Mccarville with two doubles and four RBIs in the win. Casper moves to 6-4 on the season while the Zap drop to 4-7.
Oahe will play again on Monday starting the 30 home games in the final 39 games as they host the Spearfish Sasquatch. First pitch of all three games will be at 6:05 from Hyde Stadium in Pierre.
