The Oahe Zap are 3-5 to open up the season, but will be back on the road to face the Casper Spuds, who they opened the 2025 summer with two weeks ago.
The Zap have played three of the four Independence League teams having not played in-state rival Spearfish. Oahe went 1-2 in three games against the Spuds to open the season winning the opening day game 15-8 before the start of five straight losses. Casper is 4-3 to start the season splitting with the Nebraska Prospects after taking two of the three from the Zap, all at home. Casper doesn’t travel on the road until June 13 when they face the Hastings Sodbusters. This is already the seventh road game of the season for the Zap, but after the series concludes, the Zap will be home for 30 of the final 39 games of the season.
First pitch is at 7:30 Central Time each of the three nights in Casper, Wyoming.
