Hadley Hart would tie for 15th place at the Class AA golf tournament on Tuesday as she would shoot an 84 and a total of 167 as the state tournament would warp up at the Prairie Green Golf Course in Sioux Falls.
Hart would be 12 over par on the day, as she shot an 83 on Monday and then 84 on Tuesday. Hart was within four shots of getting inside the top ten for the tournament. Sittie Kasan would end with a 182 in total shooting a 90, two shots better on Tuesday. Drew Rechtenbaugh was better in day two as she would shoot a 95 to finish at 206 and Sierra Prunty would end her first state tournament with a 248 in total.
Olivia Braun of Aberdeen Central, who had a six shot lead after the first day, would close out the state championship with an eight shot win as she was three under par on Tuesday to finish four under par in total at 140. Mitchell’s Maddie Childs would stay in second finishing at 148, but Spearfish’s Alison Kennedy would shoot a 73 on Tuesday to move from fifth to third on the final day at 152 in total. Aberdeen Central would hold on for the team title increasing it’s lead to win by 18 over Mitchell as the Golden Eagles were at 625 in total while Mitchell was at 643. Pierre finishes in tenth at 803.
