Light Agenda Again For Pierre City Commission

PIERRE, (KCCR) — Again, a light agenda comes before the Pierre City Commission. The consent calendar has more items on it than the main body of the agenda. The calendar includes the usual minutes and claims approval along with a raffle request filed by Capital Area Counseling Services. Two public hearings will be set with approval of the calendar. The public hearings will be for an application for on/off sale malt beverage and farm wine licenses for Panda House on South Pierre Street and for Missouri Shores for a progress public hearing connected to a Community Development Block Grant. Seven human resource items are also on the calendar. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for a temporary liquor license request for Oahe Days and Oahe Days requests from the City of Pierre will also be considered by the Commission. Commissioners will also consider a street closure and temporary malt beverage license for Sioux Avenue Cruise Night on June 7th. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the Pierre Municipal Building.
