The Oahe Zap would give up nine unearned runs in an 11-4 loss to the Hastings Sodbusters on Tuesday to open a three game set on the road.
Connor Goldberg would double home the first run of the game for the Zap in the top of the second to go up 1-0. However, the lead was short lived. After a lead off error in the bottom of the second, Luke Caussey would hit a home run to put the Sodbusters up 2-1 and never trailed after that. Goldberg would drive in two runs for Oahe as he also doubled while Mason Lang and Trey Runge each would have an RBI in the loss. The Zap used five pitchers in the loss as none of them threw over 70 pitches. Oahe drops to 1-3 while Hastings is now 3-0.
Game two of the series will be played at 6:35 tonight.
