The Oahe Zap will begin its Independence League season Friday as they travel to Casper for a three game series. The Zap want to get off to a better start in 2025.
Oahe went 15-37 over the summer last year which ended up being last in the league. However, Oahe showed some glimpses of greatness running a seven game winning streak in early July. However, the Zap couldn’t keep sustained wins over the course of the summer. Oahe wants to be the first team since the Pierre Trappers in 2018 finish above .500 when the Trappers were 32-31. Oahe opens the season with six straight road games before hosting the Fremont Moo for a two game weekend series. The first nine of 11 games will be on the road with the Zap then playing nine road games in the remaining 39 games. Habeger says it’s chance to start out hot…

First pitch Friday and Saturday is at 7:30 Central Time with a 4:00 Central Time First pitch on Sunday.
