It’s the final time to qualify for track and field athletes for the state meet as Sully Buttes will host the Central Plains Super Regional Meet in Onida today.
A total of 20 teams will be in Onida this afternoon looking for a final time to make the state meet which begins next week Thursday in Sioux Falls. Stanley County will be one of three Class A teams at the event with Crow Creek and Mobridge-Pollock. Other area teams will be Highmore-Harrold and Potter County with the host Chargers from Class B. It’s the third event hosted by Sully Buttes this year.
The field events begin at 10:00 AM and the track events at 12:00 from the Sully Buttes Track Complex in Onida.
