The Pierre Governor Track and Field team would get 14 wins in Aberdeen on Friday as the Govs are down to the final two weeks of the season.
The Governors broke a 21 year old school record in the sprint medley relay race as Emlyn Swanson, Kali Ringstmeyer, Charlee Williams-Smith and Emery Larson won with a time of 4:11.15 beating the record by five seconds. Williams-Smith also won the 100 and 200 meter runs while Josephine Wurtz wont he 400 meters and teamed up with Larson, Ringstmeyer and Allson Bauer won the 4×400 relay. Swanson also won both the long jump and triple jump.
On the boys side, Carson Stoeser won the 100 meters, 200 meters and the long jump while Carter Norton won the 400 meters, Caleb Morris in the 800 meters, Lincoln Dilges in the 110 meter hurdles and the team of Karson Walti, Carter Merrill, George Rapp and Norton winning the 4×200 relay race.
