PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A full agenda greets the Commission with details in special business of the annual Law Enforcement Memorial and National Peace Officers Memorial Day Wednesday. Commissioners will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar before moving on to two items of unfinished business. The Commission will consider approval of a plat in the Brookstone Addition and bids for 2025 precast concrete. Commissioners will get an update on the 4th Street Guardrail project and consider a contract for pipe lining with MOCON Pacific. The Commission will give second readying to the 2024 budget carryforwards, hear the 2024 annual report and consider antenna site leases with Hughes County. Also on the agenda is an amendment to the Joint Powers Maintenance and Encroachment and Financial Agreement with the South Dakota Department of Transportation. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
