Governors Defeat Lennox, Madison at Sioux Falls Christian Invite

The Pierre Governors would grab two wins over the weekend beating both Madison and Lennox in Sioux Falls as the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers hosted the event.

Pierre would beat Madison 7-2 with singles wins from Lucas Hight in flight one, Noah Lueking in flight three, Brady Lowery in flight four and Levi Hight in flight five. Lucas Hight and Jacob Leiferman would win in doubles flight one while Lueking and William Southern would win in flight two and Lowery and Jacoby LaRoche would win in flight three.

Against Lennox, Pierre grabbed a 6-3 win as Leiferman in flight two, Lueking in flight three, Levi Hight in flight five and LaRoche in flight six would grab singles wins while Lucas Hight and Leiferman had a second doubles win and Lueking and Southern grabbed a doubles flight two win. Lueking would finish 4-0 while Levi Hight and Southern each went 2-0.

You can see the results below. Pierre will host its home invitational tournament coming up this weekend, but first will travel to Mitchell today for a varsity quad.
