The Sully Buttes Chargers would host the Yellowstone Trail Conference meet on Thursday in Onida. North Central would win both the girls and boys team scores while Potter County girls would place second and the Charger boys would get second.
Sully Buttes
The Sully Buttes Chargers would end with five wins on the day as Payge Bakker would win both the discus and shot put throw while Atticus Miles would win the boys javelin and Kadyn Westergren, the shot put. Sully Buttes had the team of Beau Forgey, Miles, Westergren and Jett Yackley win the 4×400 relay race. Bretton Barber, Hudson Barber, Carson Mercer and Jace Heath would place second in the 4×100 relay race, Hudson Barber was second in the triple jump, Karsen Miles was third in the 800 meters and Westergren was third in the discus. Back on the girls side, Elliana Nelson was second in the long jump while Annaliese Van Zee was third in the javelin and Camryn Comes was third in the 800 meter run.
Potter County
The Potter County Battlers would have 13 wins for the day at the YTC. Jhett Simon had an outstanding day winning the 100, 200 and 400 meter runs while also winning the long jump for four total wins. Michael Jager, Ayden Forger, Joseph Stanley and Jackson Simon would win the 4×200 while on the girls side, Dannika Kaup won the 200 meter and 100 meter hurdles while also helping win the 4×400 relay with Jadyn Ahlemeier, Finlee Heien and Emma Schlachter. Schlachter would also win the 400 meter run. Jaycee Stevens would win the 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs and team up with Rayel Persoon, Layla Cronin and Skyler Oster to win the 4×800 relay. Persoon, Oster, Ahlemeier and Taylyn Rausch would win the 4×200 and Heien would also win the 300 meter hurdles.
