21 teams in total would compete at the Charger Invite in Onida on Tuesday hosted by the Sully Buttes Chargers in Onida.
Sully Buttes
The host team Chargers would get two wins on the day with Payge Bakker taking first in the discus throw while Annaleise Van Zee would win the javelin throw. Olivia Olson was second in the 300 meter hurdles and Kadyn Westergren was second in the shot put and Hudson Barber third in the triple jump.
Potter County
The Potter County Battlers would get four wins in Onida with Landon Larson winning the only boys event at the long jump. Emma Schlachter would win the 800 meter run and Dannika Kaup the 300 meter hurdles. Kaup, Schlachter, Jaydn Ahlemeier and Finlee Heien would take home first in the 4×400 relay. Kaup, Ahlemeier, Schlachter and Paige Ahlemeier would be second in the 4×800 relay.
Jones County
The Jones County Coyotes nabbed three wins on the day with Addison Rankin placing first in the high jump while the team of Thad Kierl, Bryer Kinsley, Asa Best and Adrik Schoon would win both the 4×400 and sprint medley relay race. Kierl, Kinsley, Schoon and Dawson Hunt were third in the 4×200. Best also placed third in the 100 meters. BreAna Aske was second in the girls 200 meter run and the team of Molly Nix, Jacey Jensen, Aske and Rankin were third in the sprint medley relay race.
Highmore-Harrold
For the Highmore-Harrold Pirates, Autumn Fallis had the best finish at third in the 1600 meter run. She was also fourth in the 300 meter hurdles. Brooks McPeak also recorded a third place finish in the boys 3200 meter run.
