In the first game in the afternoon, Lucy Nelson of Sioux Falls would make it 1-0 after one and it would be tied 1-1 at the end of two periods. In the third the game remained tied until the final minute when Oahe’s Aubrey Stewart would set up Mitchell’s Livaya Mimmack to score with 13 seconds remaining to win the game and extend its tournament to the semifinals Saturday night.
In the semifinal game, Sioux Center’s Maci Cannegieter would tie the game at 1-1 in the second period.
