Two Pierre Governors have been selected for the All-ESD team as Lennix DuPris was selected on the girls team and Luke Olson for the boys team.
The Governor girls went 7-3 in the conference and had just one member selected. However, DuPris was excellent by the numbers and only Brandon Valley and Aberdeen Central had more than one member make the team. DuPris had 18 points per game on the season and averaged 6.6 rebounds per game and 4.75 assists per game as all were team highs for Pierre. Pierre finished 12-8 in the regular season and 13-11 to close the year. DuPris was also second on the team in steals per game at 3.6. For Olson, he was also the catalyst of the Governor offense as he and Dawson Getz led the team in scoring with 12.6 points per game while also nearly leading the team in rebounding. Olson shot 51% from the field and nearly 69% from the free throw line. He helped the Governors to a 6-15 record in his senior season. Pierre finished 3-6 in the ESD.
