The Lyman Raiders would get the win on Friday over the Harding County Ranchers 57-48 in the consolation semifinal to reach the Class B Consolation Championship on Saturday.
The Raiders would take a halftime lead 22-20 and outscore the Ranchers by 10 in the third to take control and survive the fourth. Harding County got within seven, but a big three from Brooke Palmer but the lead back to 10 and the Raiders were able to hold them off from there to get the win and advance to the fifth place game. Four players for the Raiders were in double figurers led by Bree Smart who tied for the game high with 15 points. Mak Scott had 13, Palmer 12 and Jordyn Scott had 11. Kamry Padden had 15 for Harding County who are now 0-2 in the tournament and the only two losses for the entire season.
Lyman will face the four seed Parkston in the consolation championship at 1:45 today at the Huron Arena.
