Stanley County Sweeps Todd County in Basketball Doubleheader

The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would break its losing streak on Tuesday at home beating the Todd County Falcons 38-22 while the boys would finish the night sweeping the Falcons with a 63-49 win.

The Lady Buffs get its second win of the season while stopping its 14 game losing streak. The Lady Buffs had solid defense holding the Falcons to almost under 20 points in the game while Addy Deal nearly had more points than the Falcons with a game high 21 points. Austyn Norman had 11 as the two combined for 32 of the 38 points for Stanley County.

The Stanley County boys would hold off Todd County in the fourth quarter for the 14 point win. Stanley County would improve to 12-4 on the season and were led by Kaden Montana scoring 32 points to lead all scorers as Eddie Duffy finished with 15 and Paxton Deal had eight.

Next up for Stanley County is a boys game on Thursday at home hosting the Chamberlain Cubs. Tip off is around 7:45 at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre. The girls will travel to Bennett County on Thursday for a contest. Tip off of that game will be around 7:15 Central Time.
