Fort Pierre City Council Approves Capital Improvement Plan

FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — After weeks and months of delays, extensions and pushbacks the Fort Pierre City Council has finally come to agreement on approval of it’s Capital Improvement Plan. The plan, from the start, has been a guide for the city to focus improvements on. Council member Larry Cronin made sure everyone listening knew it was…

Cronin also added that with projects within Stanley County and the Stanley County School District it may be difficult to see all projects addressed…

Council members Todd Bernhard and Callie Iverson both say they’ve known the intentions of the plan from the beginning…

The Fort Pierre City Council approved the plan six-zero. Finance Officer Roxanne Heezen noted with the Council’s approval, a grant will now cover 50-percent of the plan’s cost to put together.
