Stanley County Splits Doubleheader as Boys have Blow Out Win

The Stanley County Buffaloes would split its doubleheader at home on Tuesday against the Jones County Coyotes as the Lady Buffs would fall 49-37, while the Buffalo boys would dominate to a 60-18 win.

The Lady Buffs had one of its best offensive performances of the season nearly scoring 40 points, but fell just short of breaking the losing streak as they have now dropped 10 straight and are 1-10 on the season. Addy Deal would lead the way for the Lady Buffs who had 12 and Camryn Norman had 11 including three threes.

The Buffalo Boys extend its winning streak to eight and are now 9-1 on the season. Stanley County led 32-4 at the end of the first half which had Jones County unable to score in the second quarter. Stanley County had a game high 16 points from Kaden Montana while Paxton Deal had 14 and Eddie Duffy had 12 as the three headed monster all had double digits.

The Stanley County Lady Buffs will host Sully Buttes on Thursday with the boys traveling to Gettysburg on Friday. Thursday’s game will be on Country 95.3, pierrecountry.com and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports with DT Meyer on the call.
