Two games this weekend for Sully Buttes basketball as the Charger girls will start tonight hosting Herried/Selby Area, while Sully Buttes will travel to Winner to face the Warriors on Saturday.
The Charger girls are now 1-2 on the season after a loss to Lyman on Tuesday. They face the Wolverines at home tonight who come in at 0-1. Timber Lake would clip the Wolverines at home 60-56. Last year, Herreid/Selby would go 15-8 dropping the SoDak 16 to Warner.
On Saturday, the Winner boys will host Sully Buttes. The Chargers picked up the opening season win on Tuesday on the road against Lyman, but will face a Class A opponent on the road this time. Winner is 2-0 with a win against Wagner and the Warriors beat Stanley County 48-33 on Tuesday led by Carter Craven’s 19 points. The Chargers will get a big test with the potential of plenty of seed points up for grabs.
