The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would get the season opening win on Tuesday night with a 36-20 win over the Chamberlain Cubs on the road.
Stanley County built and held on to a lead throughout the entire game taking a 13-6 advantage after the first and 20-15 at the half. The Lady Buffs were balanced in scoring as seven different players all scored. Stanley County was led by Camryn Norman and Breckyn Huebner both finishing with a game high eight points. Norman hit two threes while Huebner had a bucket in each quarter. Austyn Norman had the other three for the Lady Buffs while JoRayah Walker had six,
The Lady Buffs start 1-0 on the year and will still have two more games this week. Stanley County will host Miller on Thursday in a girls and boys doubleheader before hosting White River on Saturday. Tip off of the girls game on Thursday is at 6:30 with the boys game to follow.
