The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes will be on the road to open the season tonight as the Buffs travel to Chamberlain to face the Cubs.
The Lady Buffaloes picked up just two wins last season going 2-18, and graduated three seniors from last year’s team. Mattie Duffy, Cadence Hand and Rachel Rungee all graduated. This year, Caycee Knight, Camryn Norman, Journey Schnee, Kiera Briggs and Kaysen Magee will lead the team as seniors.
Chamberlain finished the 2023-24 season at 8-13 and did defeat Stanley County 44-25 in the first game of the season last year. However, the Cubs graduate six seniors from last year and have just two this year. Chamberlain, along with Stanley County open up the season with a tough week with three games between Tuesday and Saturday.
Tip off from Chamberlain is scheduled for around 7:45 tonight.
