The Pierre Governor gymnastics team would go straight from Huron on Thursday to hosting the Pierre invite on Saturday and finish in eighth place in the second meet of the season.
Pierre hosted ten teams on the afternoon as the Mitchell Kernels would take home first place edging out Harrisburg by a tenth of a point. Mitchell would score a 148.2 while Harrisburg had a 148.1. Pierre finished at 129.1.
Emmy Loe had the best day for the Governors who finished in 12th in All-Around but had a top 15 finish in the vault, the highest finish in any category. Loe was also 17th in the uneven parallel bars. KaCee Wilson was 19th in the bars. Ryen Sheppick would get 16th in All-Around for Pierre.
