PIERRE, (KCCR) — Names have been released from a fatal three-vehicle crash in Jackson County in late November. The crash happened November 24th around 3:15 pm 15 miles west of Kadoka at mile marker 135 on Interstate 90. An eastbound Dodge pickup driven by 80 year-old Howard Ireland of Belvidere lost control in icy conditions, crossed the median and was struck by a westbound Honda Civic and Freightliner Cascadia. Ireland was taken to a Rapid City hospital where he died November 25th. The driver of the Honda, 33 year-old Morgan Visto of Rapid City received minor injuries. Visto’s 11 year-old male passenger suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries. The Freightliner driver, 36 year-old Ahmed Warsame of Edmonton, Alberta Canada was not injured.
