The Lennox Orioles would beat Sioux Falls Christian in the state championship game to keep the Chargers from a perfect season and now the Orioles get Boston Katzer to be the All-State quarterback and All-American.
Katzer would throw for over 3000 yards and 33 touchdowns with another 463 rushing yards and five touchdowns. The three sport athlete and now a three time All-State player for Lennox. He helped lead the Orioles to a 14-6 win over the Chargers.
Sioux Falls Christian would get 10 players on the All-State team this year as the only loss for the Chargers came in the state championship. Four of the 10 players will be back next year for Sioux Falls Christian.
