Hamlin Shows Dominance with State Championship, Most on 9AA All-State Team

The Hamlin Chargers would dominant the 9AA state championship beating Parkston 32-8 and then finish with five players on the 9AA All-State team, the most in the class.

Hamlin’s quarterback, Jackson Wadsworth will lead the 9AA team throwing for 34 touchdowns an two interceptions and almost 2000 yards. It’s the junior’s first year starting for the Chargers. Evan Stormo was his favorite target. The senior had 35 catches for 842 yards and 16 touchdowns. Stormo also ran for 249 yards and eight touchdowns and even threw for a touchdown pass. Stormo is also the selection for the 9AA All-American.

Hill City’s Logan Street is the only freshman to make the All-State team for 9AA and one of two in all seven classes. Street was the Rangers kicker having over a third of his kicks be touchbacks and making 48-55 PATs.
