The Pierre Governor wrestling teams will be hosting the annual wrestle-offs tonight at the Riggs High School gym. It’s the first chance to see the 2024-25 Governor team.
Both the girls and boys teams will have matches as it can be a deciding match on who will be taking the varsity spot in a certain weight class, or a match to get the athletes into the routine of a match as the season is set to get underway next weekend out in Mandan and Watertown. Entry fee is a case of gatorade, powerade or sports drink to help out with the team throughout the year.
The wrestle-offs begin at 6:00 at the Riggs High School gym.
