Swim Team Competes in Yankton

The Pierre Swim team saw 6 swimmers compete at the 2024 YST Veteran’s Day Charity Invite in Yankton, November 16-17^th.

In the Boys 9-10 Division, 1 swimmer:

Callan Ekle: 200 free-4^th, 100 free-5^th, 100 back-5^th, 50 free-6^th, 50 back-6^th, 100 IM-6^th & 200 IM-8th

In the Boys 17-19 Division, 1 swimmer:

100 fly-1^st, 50 free-2^nd, 100 free-2^nd, 100 back-2^nd, 200 IM-2^nd & 400 IM-2^nd

In the Girls 7-8 Divison, 1 swimmer:

Savannah Stewart: 25 free-10^th, 50 back-11^th, 100 free-12^th, 25 back-19^th & 50 free-19^th

In the Girls 9-10 Division, 2 swimmers:

Sophie Lukkes: 100 breaststroke-6^th, 50 back-8^th, 200 free-8^th, 100 back-9^th, 100 free-11^th, 50 free-13^th & 100 IM-13^th
Betty Lukkes: 50 back-1^st, 100 back-1^st, 200 free-1^st, 50 breaststroke-2^nd, 50 fly-3^rd, 100 breaststroke-3^rd, 100 IM-3^rd

In the Girls 15-16 Division, 1 swimmer:

Sorrine Ekle: 500 free-2^nd, 200 free-3^rd, 200 IM-5^th, 200 back-6^th, 100 free-8^th & 50 free-9th

The team also competed in Sturgis on November 24-25, where 18 swimmers competed. A full list of those results will be later this week.
