FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. City officials will gives reports to the Council before the Council takes up a fairly full agenda. A poppy proclamation will be made and Council members will consider approval of a professional services contract with Bartlett and West. The Council will consider bids on surplus electric transformers; a resolution relating to a plat change in Vintage Square Estates and setting a public hearing for a rezoning ordinance. Other agenda items include considering approval of an engineering agreement with Brosz Engineering for a Fort Pierre Maintenance Yard; considering authorization for geotechnological engineering for the Fort Pierre Maintenance Yard and more discussion on the Capital Improvement Plan. The Council will also discuss engineering on 2025 street improvements and a temporary use permit for Cam Rentals. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at six pm.
