PIERRE, (KCCR) — It’s another short agenda for the Pierre City Commission tonight. The meeting’s consent calendar is full with six items to be approved simultaneously. The include the minutes from the September 24th meeting, the claims and four raffle requests. Those requests have been filed by American Legion Post Eight for two raffles, Bingo on Sundays from October to February and monthly 50/50 raffles from October to February; Beyond the Classroom and the Saint Peter and Paul’s Altar Society. Only two items of business are on the agenda otherwise with one unfinished item and one new. Commissioners will consider a resolution for a plat change in the Brookstone Addition. The Commission will also consider approval of a Joint Powers Agreement with the South Dakota Department of Transportation for the Euclid reconstruction project. The meeting will end with Commissioners presenting any dialogue items they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
