Pierre Post 8 junior legion will be hosting the junior legion state tournament which is set to begin on Thursday as the Eights will host the pool play and bracket style tournament.
Pierre will play the final game of each day during pool play as they are in the pool with Rapid City Post 320, Brandon Valley and Brookings. Pierre played within reach of all three games against Post 320, did not play Brandon Valley and lost 11-4 to Brookings during the regular season where they went 4-11 in South Dakota games and 9-21 overall. Pierre will play the final game of all three nights facing Rapid City Post 320 Shooters at 7:30 tonight before taking on Brandon Valley at 7:30 on Friday and then Brookings at 6:00 on Saturday with all games at Hyde Stadium in Pierre. The top two teams advance to the semifinals on Sunday morning with the championship to be played at 2:30 Sunday afternoon. You can see the full schedule below.
