Zap Sweep Bison, First Three Game Winning Streak of Season

The Oahe Zap would sweep the Bison Baseball team Thursday through Saturday which is the first three game series sweep and winning streak of the season for the Zap.

Buck Snabes would hit a walk off single in the first game on the 4th of July winning the first game 4-3 before routing the Bison 15-4 on Friday which included a nine run third inning leading 15-0 after five innings. Brayden Byrum had three RBIs in the win to lead the Zap.

On Saturday, the Zap would come from behind and score four runs in the sixth and two in the seventh to beat the Bison 8-5. Jackson Mix had the go ahead hit driving in three runs with a one out double to make it 6-3 in the sixth, the only extra base hit of the game for Oahe.

After falling to 2-6 in the second half of the season, the Zap are back to now 5-6 but will have four straight days off. Oahe and the Bison will play another two game series on Thursday and Friday next week at Hyde Stadium before hosting the Spearfish Sasquatch the following week.
